What is this hose?

Hi All,

 

Just bought a new (to me) 1993 16 Scamp and am familiarizing myself with it.  I noticed this hose next to the fresh water tank is disconnected.  Can anyone tell me what it's purpose is?  It looks like it's coming out of the wastewater tank.

Drain-Overflow

Looks like it had been fitted and glue on that outside hole just above it.

Gray water tank vent

Gray water tank vent line. Attaches to tank then up into cabin then loops back through the floor.
