Has anyone here looked in to swapping from the OE torsion axle to a Timbren axle-less suspension?
Im concerned my current torsion axle needs replacement (based on tire wear and axle age - as far as I know, the axle is 30 years old). In looking at replacements, I'm seeing a lot of folks mention Timbren. HOWEVER, I am not sure the Scamp has sufficient frame bracing to support the Timbren design - these transfer alot of stress into the frame of the trailer.
Any insight or experience folks have had is much appreciated!
By the time you weld in a cross member (not supplied) cost may be the only thing you gain.

Thank you, Greg! Not sure why I couldn't find that in my initial search, but that is a fantastic resource!
