Replacement Battery

It's time to replace my battery. 202113'

I've looked through various threads but don't see any very recent ones. Hence this question.

My camping this far has always included power but I'd like to do some modest boondocking 2-3 days. Needs would be LED lights, Maxx fan in warmer weather and fan on the heater in colder nights. I don't do winter camping but in the mountains, nights can get cold even in warmer weather.

I have a group 27 battery now. I've checked and the converter does not support lithium.

I'm looking at a couple of 100ah AGM batteries and trying to figure out why some cost so much more than others.

Here are a couple on Amazon

Thoughts?
Thanks

Battery

I'm totally a fan of Lithium and have had twin 100ah Battleborns, solar, inverter for 5 years now. Lowest I've ever been was 60% and they can go all the way down. We boondock all the time for weeks and months at a time and only have to come in for tanks and propane. It's been in on our RV pad at our house for over a month now, never plugged in, and it's still at 100% daily.

I'd definitely look at AGM's over the standard marine battery, but Lithium's are the best and I'm covered for 10 years with Battleborn. I think they may go much longer.

Lithium and Converter

Thanks. I do appreciate the advantages of lithium, but as I noted, I would then also need to change the converter. We're not interested (at least for now) in extended off grid camping. I'm hoping a 100ah battery would enable us to do 2-3 days. Do you think that's reasonable?

Sufficient for 2-3 days

I use to be able to go 3-4 days on Group 27 deep cycle Walmart battery. Added a portable 50w solar panel that I would alligator clip to the battery and could go weeks if the weather was good.

You'd be more than fine for 2-3 days with almost any type battery and simply add a portable solar panel if you want to go longer.

Just a thought, you probably don't need to change out a converter to go Lithium. My converter was an older progressive and did not handle Lithium profile. Called Randy at Best Converter and he said I only needed to change out the charge module in the converter for much less, simple swap out and I then had the Lithium profile.

Not OP but ty

This was really useful and I'd not heard of the battleborn batteries, very happy to see they have a cold-weather version, have you any expereince with the self-heated kind?

Lithium converter

That's really interesting re upgrading the converter. Kudos for finding that out. I'll keep that in mind.
