Fridge not working on 110 volts

On a trip this summer, the Dometic RM2193 refrigerator stopped working on shore power.  It works fine on 12 volts and propane.  I suspect it could be the 110 volt heater probe, since the chimney does not get hot.  Before I dig into this further, are there any fuses or breakers I need to check?  The breakers on the main panel are all on...I didn't know if there are any other breakers/fuses on the refrigerator itself.

Some have their own outlet...

...and can come unplugged. Check the easy things first.

Fridge on 110v

We had the same problem. It was fixed by replacing the 110v switch.

Fridge Switch

I was able to take the switch apart and clean the contacts.  The 110 element eventually burned out after I ran it for several summers as a beer fridge.  Don't do that.  The element replacement is very tedious..

Will test the fridge switch

I am suspecting that the switch could be the problem, but haven't tested it yet.  I hope it's something as simple as that.

Now this is strange

I was in my Scamp today and noticed that the refrigerator was working on 110 volts...it was 42 in the fridge.  I would say this confirms something is wrong with the switch, because I doubt the heating element would start working again.  When I have some time, I will look at the switch.  It has been at the bottom of the list of things to do.

Switch went bad on mine

The AC power switch died on my fridge so it is certainly possible. I second checking where it is plugged in. Sounds like a duh suggestion but in fact when I discovered my battery was not charging, it turned out the inverter plug under the seat had come loose.

Fridge 110 volt switch

I tried to get at the switches, but there is a gas hose in the way.  I tried to loosen it with a wrench but it is on very tight and I didn't want to force it and possibly break it off.  The attached picture shows the hose on the left that is in the way.  Since the fridge does work on propane and 12 volts...I didn't want to risk damaging something and then have a fridge that didn't work at all.  Is that hose on super tight and that I shouldn't be afraid to loosen it?
