rat fur - I have several dirty spots and I don't have a clue what to use to clean it . Any help would be appreciated

How in the world do you clean
If you look on my Scamp 5th Wheel project post you'll see the awful rat fur we started with and how it cleaned up.We used two products to clean it up from a very soiled condition. Started with a very thorough vacuuming with a shop vac.
Took about 2 times with the TuffStuff and brush and 3 times over with the Bissell, but you can see in the later pictures it cleaned up like new. The rat fur is very durable and you can really get after it with the cleaners.

If you have isolated stains and spots Blue Magic Carpet Stain and Spot lifter really works good. It is sold at Wal Mart in the auto department. It also works great on auto seat stains. It is in a silver and blue can.

For cleaning dirty spots on rat fur, use a damp cloth with mild, unscented soap or a pet-safe shampoo and
Star Brite - Ultimate Water Spot Remover. Gently dab the dirty areas, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry. Avoid soaking the fur and monitor for any adverse reactions.
