I was looking at the Scamp FB page this morning and it said to check out the new cherry interiors on the standard Scamp but, sadly, the website didn't have an update for that yet. In my mind I just can't imagine what this will look like. I love the look of the deluxe and think nothing on the market looks better. I would have to admit that the current cabinet doors on the standard aren't my favorite so I anxious to see what they have come up with. I really like manufacturers that find something that works and just stay with it but a little change can be good.
They do have it! I like it a lot!
They do have pictures of the cherry on the website for the standard. It is just the doors are a cherry color instead of oak. I have the cherry (picked mine up in August).
Yes, I did find the cherry when I actually looked but one could miss it just casually looking. I am not a fan of oak, so overdone. In the Deluxe, I like the birch. I have seen a lot of photos where people that have personalized the doors and painted them and they look nice too. While the cherry would work out nicely in the standard, I don't think in the small space that cherry would work in the Deluxe, too dark in that case for me anyway.

Hopefully they will keep the deluxe in birch. It looks very nice. I agree that all that dark wood in the small space would be claustrophic!
