Adding a Bidet...

During the great TP shortage we put in Bidet seats at home.  My wife said why not add one to the Scamp too!  It turned out to be pretty easy finding an attachment that fits.  This one is a Bio Bidet Essential Simple model from Amazon.  It's a thin attachment, only 1/4" where it fits under the seat hinge.  The SharkBite combo tee-fitting + valve is spliced into the PEX water supply tubing, and I replaced the included stainless braided hose (from the tee) to the Bidet with a 20" long smooth plastic version for easier cleaning in a shower (wet bath).

i have to show this to my

i have to show this to my wife.  my question for you would be, do you think the amount of water you use takes up less space than the amount of TP you would have used?  i love the concept of the bidet, i'm just wondering if it will fill up my blackwater tank faster than TP.

Yep, more water use, less TP use...

Yep, more water use with a bidet, less TP use.  No idea on how much though.  But since use is optional, if running low on TP; use the bidet more.  Tank getting high; use more TP.
