Any structural concerns with moving the metal supports to the other side of the cabinets?
I couldn't seem to find an older post discussing placement of the wrought iron cabinet/sink supports, so I figured I'd open up a new thread. I know they're essential for roof support, but we're reno-ing an '82 13 footer and are hoping to flip them to the other side of the cabinet on the bunk side.
Are you looking for elbow room or a new look. Scamp has a new style. I would want to keep them near the center of the RV.

Thanks, Kenneth. That support is definitely better than the two spiraled pieces of wrought iron.
I ask because we're extending the bed to 54" and that will extend past where the supports were originally. Trying to weigh out options as to where we can relocate them.

I just noticed where you live, you do not get the heavy snow loads that we get in the upper mid-west, and no Air conditioner on the roof? You can get away with more than we can here..
That definitely eliminates some worry! For safety's sake and for the longevity of the Scamp, I'll probably just replace it on the sink side as close to the original as possible. I'll have to set forward about 8 inches due to the new bed size, but I can probably make it work.
