I have a scamp 13 with standard front bunk layout, Gas hot water, white water, and grey water tank. Is there a way to add an after market shower? This could be anything from a spayer attachment on the sink to an outside shower or anything inbetween where i can utilize the the hot water on board with out going through extra steps. Thank you for any suggestions.

After Market Shower?
Two years ago at the Quartzsite gathering, a couple had a really nicely tricked out 13 Scamp. They had a hw heater and had put in a really nice spray faucet replacement on the sink, then put an extra long steel braided hose on the spray arm. They would pull it all the way out and hand it out side window for a simple outside shower. Easy and very inexpensive shower add. Keep a rubber mat of some kind to throw on the ground and you have a deluxe shower. You could even put one of those inexpensive shower tents up right outside the window, put your porta-potty out tnere and you would have a full bathroom for longer stays.

If your moderately handy, I did an outside shower install a few years back.... The only change i would make is instead of using pex crimp clamps i would use shark bite fitting that just simply push on..... I used butyl tape for the install.

We have a pop-up and I had marked this article as a possibility since we don't have a shower, just a cassette toilet: http://popuptimes.com/?p=787 It seems like a possibility though for a Scamp with some adjustments.

what exactly is a laundry tub that you used for your shower floor? can you find these at the depot? thanks
We haven't put one in our pop-up but I want to if we can't find a molded fiberglass this spring but it looks to me like what they used was a "utility sink"or "laundry tub" as they go by both names. For us it is tough because some family members seem to be part duck! As we know, ducks should bathe outside the camper!
I did think this one was the best example that I have seen. I did see a "prepper" that made one for his truck camper and he used a RubberMaid container but I just think that would require some extra thought that a utility tub would eliminate. I have seen the utility sink/tub at home stores and hardwares.

I admit this looks rough but I came across this new website about do it yourself rv and thought it couldn't hurt to post as a lot of times, I don't use their exact ideas but get pointers: http://www.doityourselfrv.com/heres-install-shower-van-extra-ideas/ I should build one of these in the basement of our house.

I am editing my earlier post here as I see that Rhalford has progressed past it and made it irrelevant. It will now include a direct link to my original modification posting I wrote about in FiberglassRV. .
The thread is: "Installing a front dinette while retaining bunks, couch and porta-potti in 13' Scamp". The direct link is: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f56/installing-a-front-dinette-while-... in the Modifications, Alterations and Updates forum that I recently posted.
Hope you can find something that may work for your situation.

after looking at your pics i like your way better kept everything and now have a shower wish i would have seen your way first
Rhalford: You're is a work of art! It is a beautiful add-on. I know you must have put in hours and hours getting it put together. You obviously have talent in that area. If I did it, it would like a 3 year old did it. : ( So, be proud!

Thank you, that means a lot from someone who has put as much workmanship into your own version. I am impressed by how much attention to detail you give in fabricating and fitting the pieces. With me, if I can't weld it, it isn't anything close to your woodworking skills. Even then it takes many fittings and cuttings to get it close.
I have been a member of this site for a bit now, but haven't really checked in much. However, I read some of the back issues and really enjoy the communication of events, recipes, people, places, etc. I will be spending more time here and contributing more also. Glad that others enjoy the sharing of ideas.
