Consider how much time you will spend in your camper sleeping. Eight hours more or less. How many hours a day will you be standing in front of your kitchen unit? Maybe a half hour. We only boil water in the camper for coffee in the morning and would much rather cook outside in the screen tent on our trusty Coleman gas stove, sitting at the picnic table, looking at the view we came to see! A twin bed is 36"! The 44" inch bed only gives you 8 more inches. We ordered the 54" inch bed and are very happy we made that choice. The problem with the big bed, especially if you add a 4" memory foam topper, is that you won't want to get out of it in the morning, We picked up our 13 footer in Backus a year ago today!
