While awaiting delivery of my new Scamp 16, layout 6 I'm vicariously traveling the USA by reading blogs . I'm becoming a little concerned about the suitability of the Scamp for extended trips and boondocking. I have not found any blogs or websites on the topic using Scamp 16's. Can anyone post URL's that cover the subject.
Thanks!
Hi - you might want to check out this site - http://rompingandnguyening.wordpress.com/ They recently spent several months traveling around in their Scamp and I think they tried to boondock most of the time.

The URL you posted is spot on! I'm going back to look at now. BTW, I'm a sailor as well. My 'Jolie Brise' is Precision 18 pocket cruiser, shoal keel with centreboard. I sail it on freshwater only.. Wish I could tow it along while camping.
(What I learned from sailing: don't confuse a lee shore with a shore in the lee)
