Upper cupboards

My wife and I get frustrated when trying to fill or retrieve the upper cupboards in our Scamp 5th wheel.  It is easier to move some items with 2 hands, but one hand is required to hold the cupboard door up whenever loading or retrieving items.  Side hinges from the factory would eliminate the problem, but perhaps create another I'm not aware of.

Has anyone who has the same issue found any easy solution?

Thanks!

I have small wood supports

I cut round dowels and square 3/4 inch rods cut from longer pieces. You only need them 4 to 6 inches long. I keep 2 or 3 available but you could put one inside each cabinet. They are not attached but just placed in a corner to use when needed. Works great.

Hatch Spring or Hatch Arm

I saw this recommended on another forum. It's called a hatch spring or hatch lift. Apparently often used on boats, so sold through marine supply stores. Seems like a neat solution, although I haven't tried it yet.
