We've all experienced those moments when an unexpected bump or pothole causes the trailer to bounce. That's scary enough, but to think that it can actually detach from the tow vehicle is terrifying. I just replaced the ball hitch with a Lock hitch, an incredibly heavy-duty affair that is absolutely secure Trimax UMAX50 Premium Universal 'Solid Hardened Steel' Trailer Lock (fits all couplers). It also tows much more smoothly without the "clunk" that you hear when the ball hits the side of its socket. Highly recommended.
The Link you sent is a trailer lock for when it's stored.... :)

You're right. Should be this one StowAway Hitch Tightener
Now we have one for storage and for hitch slop!
I've seen them but never tried it yet, but hear they Really Work Good. I had a grand cherokee and that slop noise would drive me crazy so i would install my WDH to get rid of that noise..... your remedy is much simpler
