As a new owner I am wondering how the lights etc work with the 12v power (battery). The trailer is 2013 so I wouldn't think the battery would be dead although it did sit through a brutal MN winter. Works great when plugged in but nothing when not. Is there a master switch?

Newbie question
Check for blown fuse. Look in battery box for one and just inside front wall or where wires enter trailer.

I agree with Bob. Check the fuse. Every once in awhile my lights don't work. For me, it's a matter of making sure the fuse is making a good connection. - - Earl
If the battery was not fully charged during extreme cold, it probably froze and is no longer useable, no matter how new.

Question: Do the newer Scamps have a converter setup? In our older Scamp, the 110v ("plugged in") and 12v are two separate systems. That is to say, some lights and outlets are 110v and are live when plugged in; some are 12v and work off battery power.
