Shower Drain Pump 1991 16ft Scamp

Hi, new owner here and trying very hard to get familiar with our 16ft Scamp.  It was built in 1991 and I have no idea how much it may have been modified. In doing research I have found that there should be a pump between the shower and the gray water tank. Does any one know when this was initiated? Should I have one and if so where.

Also appears my gray water drain has been modified, can someone tell me the correct fixtures and angle. mine is on a 90 deg elbow facing rear of trailer.

Any help is appreciated

Grey pump location

I do not know when it started, but on my 2017 it is outside under the floor near the left front. It also has a filter in front of it. Check out the Scamp web page for parts.

We have an 13' 87 deluxe and the pump location is the same.  I replaced ours and kept the old pump to rebuild.

Without that pump, or its

Without that pump, or its filter clogged, the shower will flood. The pump has to move the water over the axle to the gray water tank. How did the previous owner solve this?  Is there a switch on the shower wall, up high? The pump and the screen filter is normally under the bathroom and protected by a rock shield.

Early Scamp shower drains

Early side bath Scamps did not have a pump they gravity fed to the tank. (Before the front bath models. Early 80's for sure. ) With the front bath models they required a pump to drain. The pumps were also used in the side bath models about this time. Pump, filter, hoses and switch not too bad to add. If you have a switch like Paul asked you at one time had a pump.
