First post here. My dog Sid and I left Austin TX June 6th on a project to raise funds for local shelters around the country. It's been an awesome experience and having my 19' Scamp as a home base has been a blessing for sure.
I've only seen three other scamps (no 5th wheels) in the two months I've been gone. That, and the number of admirers I've had swooning over my camper have made me proud to be a Scamp owner.
There are still a couple of things I haven't figured out. Getting my hot water heater to work, and getting my fridge to run on propane. But other than that, it's been smooth sailing.
My Scamp is a 2010. I'm pulling it with a '13 Tacoma. I've done some mods to the camper, including making room under the gooseneck for a generator (shifting the propane tanks to the outside), and getting it painter (obviously).
I've been wanting to make a post to introduce myself to the group, and this photo from last week at the Columbia River Gorge made me feel like that time is now.
Anyway, please to meet y'all! You can follow our adventures here: bit.ly/instazb

You could use that in a brochure to sell Scamps !!!
Or put on your Christmas Cards.
By-the-way, is that Bigfoot standing near the rear of the Pickup ?
As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
Nice to have you in the clubhouse! I'll enjoy watching your travels and project unfold.
