A brief word of warning/precaution based on hard experience.
The “Ultra Hardware Closet Door Handle,” aka the shower/loo door handle, can be inadvertently locked from the inside (there is a small bar that slides up to keep the knob from turning), and there is no way to unlock it from the outside short of major surgery, and destroying the hardware in order to save it.
This happened to me yesterday, coming into Albuquerque, where I desperately needed a shower. After initial efforts failed, and a sleepless night, this morning I called Eveland. The Parts guy ultimately admitted that there was no way to take the business off from the outside.
Luckily I had my cordless drill, which I had recharged before I left.Thus armed with drill, screwdriver, channel lock pliers, and a rubber mallet, I attacked the handle. I’m not sure what combination of implements actually did the trick, but it was while “unscrewing” the knob with the channel locks that the impediment gave way and I saw what the cause was.
Also, beware, the circular bit below the knob, where a keyhole might be, is purely decorative.

You must have really wanted that shower...
Keep us posted on what you replace the handle with that resolves the issue. Some folks will probably want to change this out before they get locked out.

As it turned out, the knob is still functional, although I think what all my twisting did was to break the spring inside that returned the thing to a normal (upright and unlocked) position, so I don't have to get one before I get home from this trip (two weeks). Once there, I'm going to check other sources for the "Ultra Hardware" handles, and possible alternstives.
