New member here and hoping to explore whether a SCAMP product would be right for me. One possiblity (maybe) is a rental for a week or so. Is this a reasonable thought? I'm 6'3" tall and don't know if I would even fit into one. A dealer visit is on my agenda. The SCAMP events seem to be a fair trek from Kansas. Any thoughts welcome. Thanks!

SCAMPS for rental?
One possibility would be to visit:
www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com/
and look for Scamps (or other Fiberglass RVs) in your area you could drive to to look at in person.
It won't take too long for you to get a feel for what you like/don't like about the different models (or brands).
A big consideration is the makeup of your family, are you single or married? With or without Children?
How old are your children? Also, how do you camp (weekends or 30 day road trips)?
If it is just you, or you and your spouse, the smallness of the Fiberglass Rvs can be cozy and quaint.
However, if your family consists of a couple of teenagers with a real shot at the NFL as middle linebackers you might find the quarters a little too cramped for comfort.
If you are looking to rent an RV to find out if and/or how much you will like camping you can rent a non-fiberglass trailer for a week or two and get a feel for camping, the experience will easily translate into the fiberglass RV experience you seek.
One final thought...
to ensure marital bliss, avoid pulling into the driveway and using the phrase "Honey, LOOK what I bought" !!!!!!
Happy Hunting !!!!
As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
