Scamp Trip

We are planning on leaving the Phoenix area July 15 and our first main stop will be Yosemite.  From there our travel plans include stopping at Redding, CA; then going up the coast to Brookings, OR; Lakeside OR; Tillamook, OR; Forks, WA; to Nakusp, BC.  I have a cousin who lives there.  From there wil will be heading to St. Vincent, MN where we also have family, then to Minneapolis, MN and then to Crown Point, Indiana for a class reunion.  We have no idea how we are coming home as of yet.  Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to the places we have picked.  Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.  Also, on our travels are there any MUST SEE places.  Thanks.

On your way home, go west

On your way home, go west through St. Louis, cross the river in I-70 west to St. Charles, MO. Shop cobble stone streets to,charming stores and delicious restaurants. Buildings are well over 200 years old, and very charming. It's a must see.

Bandon Oregon

The OCG begin on 7/20 if you want to stop by, Bandon is always an excellent place to visit.

Scamp Trip

We saw that as we were planning and was going to rearrange our trip so that we could attend but we were told it was sold out.  We will be in Brookings on the 23rd.

Depending on how you plan

Depending on how you plan your route from St. Vincent to Mpls, it's a beautiful area this time of year around Itasca State Park (beginning of ole Mississippi), Brainerd and Park Rapids, MN area, yup right in the backyard of the hatchery (Scamp/Bacus).  If you are a hiker there is 123 miles of the Paul Bunyan Trail.  Fish, plenty there.  There is a reason they call this the state of 10,000.   Have a great trip and a safe one.
