Hi Folks,
Our new 13 just keeps me grinning. In the last 10 days it has gone from 25 degrees at night to the high seventies in the days, maybe spring has sprung in central Illinois. Yes, our new air conditioner works as does the Fantastic Fan. In my laziness, I have stopped cranking out the windows during the day. Now I just open the Fantastic fan, turn it on, open the exterior door, and close the screen door. The effect is nice gentle fresh air and door is just open a few inches.
The screen door was ordered at my wife's request, and yes, her wisdom prevailed.

AWe too have a screen door and love it! While at the factory I got 2 new panels, as ours were wearing out. We now have a brand new screen door! I cannot imagine a Scamp without one!

Our 2016 13ft Scamp has a retractable screen ...it works great with the fan...creates a nice updraft
I currently do not know what the moniker is for the screen in our 2016 13'. It has many folds in it and 5 tension cords in it th keep it tight. It works nicely. I fear it is not dog proof,,, but then we don't have a dog.

Sounds like the Plisse' which Scamp started using about June 2015.
Ours is a bifold door and works very well. We do not travel with animals, never will. We have 3 cats but they are now very old and their time is short too. Once they are gone, no more animals and tons of time with the Scamp.

Thank you Gordon2 for the correct name.
Our 1988 19' has the bi-fold screen door and it works well. The Plisse' screen door is better protected when it is retracted as the screen is fully enclosed.
