creating porta potty space in 13' scamp in front bench

I have a 2012 13' scamp without a toilet - I'm wondering if anyone has created a space incorporated into the front sofa/seat ?

Any suggestions would be welcome

PP Space

Most people store their PP in the cabinet (center) under the goucho. You can make a box/tray to store it in and turn the box over at night and set the PP on top of it for a better seat height. Sorry I can't help with the PP model# but I think Wal Mart sell a short PP. Others should help with Mfg/ P/N.

Porta Potty

I believe the one that fits at Wally is a Thetford. Take the height measurement for that center compartment and double check when you go to Wally. We would pull ours out at night and set it back in against the door between the closet and the bed.

Long ago, there was a fella that built one into the passenger side of the front couch with a really cool throne seat that was under the cushion. He had first converted the couch to a dinette so each bench seat was separate.

Thetford

Looks like people are using the Thetford 320 under the goucho bench, but like Greg suggested measure twice before you buy one.

PP

We have a 13 big bed to pick up in April.  It appears that the big bed extends out over the raised portion of the dinette's floor.  That creates a space that is about 18'' high  and about 10 inches deep that can hide the majority of our commode.  This our plan, until we find a better one.  At night, the commode will be set up in the doorway, kind of. out of the way.  I would not want to trip over it.

BTW, We intend to keep our dinnette / bed in the sleeping mode.
