Our 2000 Fifth Wheel had a bad battery and a broken battery box when we got it. As I started looking to replace the battery box I realized that I have some freedome here to upgrade the battery a bit, if there is room. We have the two inboard propane tanks, so there isn't much room. I was wondering what size battery is standard and what sizes others have used successfully. In other words, what are my options here?

The battery the PO had aboard was a Group 24 and I currently replaced the battery with Group 27 on the 97 19. Looks like there would be a bit of room to go larger since you need a battery box replacement as well. I don't think the current box would take much larger.
