The Escape 17 has two vinyl snap on rock guards that were very filthy. Thanks to Joe Z who turned me onto Bleche White which you can get at any auto store or Wally. It says it is a tire cleaner, but you won't believe how it cleans vinyl. My rock guards are brite white again and look brand new.

Clean Vinyl
You give me far too much credit. LOL I originally purchased it to clean some really dirty whitewalls on an old classic car and as soon as i sprayed it on the dirt just flowed off without scrubbing. Been using it ever since for white convertible tops, white vinyl etc. that was about 15 years ago and always keep it handy..... my latest cleanup for it was the white top on an old suzuki samurai. Looks brand new and it was really filthy.

Would this work on the out side of the scamp? Also any info on painting an clear coating!
No! It works great on vinyl products but not as good on fiberglass. try a little incompicuous spot and you will see what i mean..... Barkeepers Friend works pretty good on fiberglass but be sure to rinse it real good before applying wax.... it turned red on me once when not rinsed properly. maybe it was the type of wax i used not sure
