To paint a Scamp

I am restoring old Scamp and thinking of painting it a different color.  The community college will paint it for cost of paint and 25.00 shop fee.  Any thoughts on painting a Scamp?

What a great deal, especially if they do all the prep and masking!! So many ways you could go:

You could stay with a shade of white; go with your favorite color; light silver for that faux "polished aluminum trailer" look; color match it to your tow vehicle; go 2-tone for that 50's retro look; camo; something to match or complement your interior color scheme; something just off of white like tan or light grey or a hint of pastel (color of your choice here). Dark silver with some extra air-brushed "rivets" could be a start of a "steam punk" look. Bright yellow with realistic air-brushed flames so it looks like a giant fire ball chasing your TV; Lighter colors will lend themselves to adding vinyl graphics of your choice-stripes, silhouettes of favorite pets or animals, etc. Black or a dark, dark blue with gold vinyl celestial images (stars, moons, suns) or airbrushed with constellations to look like the night sky. Have fun with it (if you are not too concerned about resale)- make it your own! We will all want to see pics upon completion!
