7th Annual Eggscursion

Townsend is at the entrance of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and is a great place to plan a vacation around.

Reserve sites 46-123 first. Make sure you tell them you are with the Egg Camping Club to get the $32.00 per night rate.

Thursday, April 24^th  Arrival Day

Friday, April 25^th

9:00 – 10:30 am      Potluck Breakfast - Pavilion

Meet & Greet Breakfast Potluck Breakfast

Bring a breakfast dish or breakfast item to the campground pavilion for a meet & greet

*Bring your own drinks, eating utensils, plates, napkins, & chairs

6:00 pm – 10:00 pm  Evening at the Pavilion

                          Bring your favorite snacks and beverage and join us

Also be ready to share some of your best jokes or tales. We will have some music in between tales to keep it lively. Bring your musical instruments. If you don’t play, come listen to some stories, great music and have fun with the group.

Saturday, April 26

9:00 – 10:30 am  Breakfast at the Pavilion (This is Not a Potluck)

                         Bring your breakfast to the pavilion and meet some new friends!                         

10:30 – 1:30 pm  Eggshibition Tour of Campers & Yard Sale

                      This time is for visiting each other’s campers to see all the different types of campers and the great modifications that have been made. Also if you have any camping related items you just had to have but found you really did not need you can display them in front of your camper and offer them for sale at this time at our Yard Sale.

5:00 – 5:10pm    GROUP PHOTOGRAPH

                         Please meet at the Pavilion for a group photo before the Potluck and please be on time.

5:10 – 7:00 pm    EGG CLUB POTLUCK DINNER

                       Theme -“Good Ole Country Cooking”

                           Bring a country-style covered dish (or anything you want)

                           *Bring your own drinks, eating utensils, plates, napkins, & chairs

7:00 – 10:00 pm  EVENING AT THE PAVILION

                      Find a fellow camper and show us your talents and team spirit. Dance; tell your favorite jokes,  story or tall tale. Also, bring your musical instruments for an evening of music at the campground pavilion. If you don’t play, come listen to the music, stories, and have fun.
