TWIRLY WROUGHT IRON KITCHEN CABINET SUPPORTS WANTED

Hello,

I am the 1 in a 100 that actually thinks the twisty wrought iron kitchen cabinets support poles (now replaced by the modern looking pine tree) are retro cute. Does anyone have a set they are willing to sell? I have a Scamp 13' on order (two years away!).

Thank you,

Heather in NC

Metal Shop

Scamp has their own metal and fab. shop. Did you ask scamp if they would install the old style supports as part of your build?

Hi Eddie.

Hi Eddie.

I definitely asked my salesman, Shawn, about the twirly supports when I placed the order (still pinching myself!) this week. He said they know longer have any, but to ask Camping World, as they may have some left in inventory. I tried that - no such luck. I think I will take the (new) support piece that comes with it and (as you suggest) take it to a shop to have a more retro piece made. I can see why they updated to the pine tree, I've just also liked the vintage look over new.

I have an iron kitchen support I’m not using

Hello, I have a iron kitchen support.  It's from a 1983 13' Scamp. I will be able to get a photo tomorrow.

Wow. That's the twisty

Wow. That's the twisty wrought pieces all right! I just emailed our Scamp salesman to ask if the drilled holes are the same on the newer (with the fabricated metal black tree) support. I will get back with you as soon as I hear. Thank you!

Will do. I would be happy to pay for shipping.

Did they come from a 13'? I'm not sure it matters, but just in case...

Scamp interior height

My 6 foot tall friend who lives in Rome GA. Would like to see what available head clearance would be a problem for him.  We both would appreciate it if he might visit an example.

thanks,
