Hi Scampers and Egg Owners: We haven't posted in awhile, but after 21/2 months using our 2007 16 ft Scamp, I thought we should. We traveled from our home in Tehachapi CA to WA state, where I helped my husband finish his lifelong goal to hike the PCT. Our Scamp offered a refuge from the trail after he finished hiking each section. We used both hook-ups or USFS campgrounds with none. Had some problems with lighting the gas option for the frig, but found that cooling the frig down with ice helped. Also, we saw a Scamp heading W on Hwy 58 in CA in early August, and again on Hwy 58 in OR, heading east! We are just returning from Bothe Napa SP in Napa Valley, and have generally enjoyed every trip with our Scamp. Below is a photo of our Scamp at a campground near White Pass, WA
Wow, what an awesome accomplishment, not an easy trail to conquer.
Look forward to hearing more about your adventures.
