2018 Scamp Camp SouthWest - Christmas in Sedona

Make your plans for this SOI gathering to get in the Christmas spirit. All brands of molded fiberglass trailers are welcome! This will be the 5th Annual Scamp Camp Southwest - Christmas in Sedona.
FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: In the heart of Sedona, AZ, are shops and galleries at the quaint Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village. Every year they hold an event called the Festival of Lights. This year the festival is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 8, 3-8 p.m. The event has great Christmas shopping, multiple bands and musicians performing, a visit from Santa Claus, free cider, and lots of Christmas lights. At 5 p.m. all in attendance begin to light the over 6,000 luminaries that surround the village.
The cherished tradition of Festival of Lights began 46 years ago and is a highly anticipated holiday event in Sedona. A full schedule of lively musical entertainment, a visit from Santa, and free cider awaits, making it the perfect outing for families and friends. At the tolling of the bell at 5:00 p.m., the lighting of 6000 luminarias gets underway in Tlaquepaque's courtyards and walkways. Specially designated luminarias to honor cancer survivors can be purchased in Patio del Norte as well.

We do not pack the schedule full of SOI activities beyond Meet and Greet and trailer tours, as the Festival of Lights all day on Saturday is loaded with activities. Reminder to get your space reserved for Scamp Camp SW in December.
For those who want to arrive on Thursday night we always have an impromptu early-bird dinner at the Oak Creek Brewery where the Saturday event will be held. This has become a great time among friends and everyone that is there on Thursday is invited.
The park is telling us we have had quite a few reservations, but we have not heard from a lot of people to confirm their attendance with us. Please email us at info@scampowners.com and let us know your site # and trailer.

Yesterday's getaway day saw 300 miles for Joy and me, but zero for my box of meds. So today is a 600 mile day as I leave Joy, the pups, and our beautiful Scamp at an RV park in beautiful downtown Bakersfield, and do a round trip to home and back. I'll learn, I promise. This will delay our arrival 'till Friday. See you all then.
