How to get rid of black streaks

I've hunted around in these forums but can't find anything current.  What have people done to remove the black streaks that run down the side or your Scamp, esp. under the windows.  I've seen a variety of products recommended when I do online searches.  Would like to know what Scampers use.  Any suggestions?

I use  Mold Armor House and

I use  Mold Armor House and Siding Cleaner.  It fits on a garden hose, and has done a good job for me.  Haven't done it on a Scamp yet, but I've used it on other fiberglass campers.

I don't think what I have is mold so much as just black that's streaked down from the black molding around the windows mostly.  Will this work on that?

Thanks.

Mine wasn't mold either--It

Mine wasn't mold either--It was black streaks coming down from a rubber roof and staining the fiberglass.  I'm betting that the streaks on yours is coming from the rubber seals around the windows and would probably be a lot like the rubber roof stains I had.  The stuff is sold for cleaning vinyl and aluminum siding, so I figured it would probably work on fiberglass too.  In my case it did--I used it every year at the beginning of camping season.  It's not expensive and it's easy to use--a word of caution though, there is some bleach in it (not a lot I don't think but enough) and if you get it on your clothes you'll be able to tell!

Black streaks

We get the streaks from dirt on the  roof. Car wax removes them.

LA's Totally Awesome All Purpose Concentrated Cleaner

I happened to talk to one of the staff at the campground I've been staying at, asking they how they got black streaks off campers.  His immediate response was "Awesome Cleaner!"  He said I could get a spray bottle at Dollar Tree for $1.25.  He was right.  I got a 20 fl oz spray bottle.

It's concentrated so I diluted it per instructions. I had to use a little bit stronger dilution than what was recommended, but it was easy, easy to use and did a great job.  Spray it on, wipe it off.  I didn't realize that overall my Scamp had turned a dingy white until I sprayed the top half and compared with the un-sprayed bottom half.  Didn't take all that much to clean my 16' Scamp, still have most of the bottle left. As a precaution, I used gloves and a covid face mask and I wear glasses.

$1

Thanks for that info, just picked up a spray bottle of that for 1$ at Dollar General.  An empty spray bottle alone costs more than that at our small hardware store!  Scampy's exterior doesn't need it, but there's always something to clean.  And for a buck, I'll try it!
