Grab Handle & Head Bump Cushion (13' 2021 w/ bath)

Another couple mods we did...

The grab handle works well in this location between the bath door and cabinets.  Feels natural to reach in and grab it with the right hand for trailer entry.  Edit: It also works from inside the bathroom, after opening the door a few inches.  It's made by Rec-Pro from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).  Held on with two 1/4-20 button head bolts with blind nuts in wood backing that's glued to the back side of the fiberglass inside the cabinets.

The head bump cushion is made from ordinary pipe insulation.  The lengthwise slit in the insulation holds it to the top of the door frame without any glue, just slide it on.  If you're tall, you'll probably want this!

Mine is inside

I found myself grabbing onto the sink so I put the grab handle inside to protect the sink. I also mounted one for the outside door.

Looks nice, I'd actually seen

Looks nice, I'd actually seen your post with that pic before and was going to do it that way.  But the frame for the new flatter door is right in the way for a hand-hold there, and hits the wrist.

So the wife and I did some experimenting before drilling any holes and came up with the location on the cabinet wall.

Still thinking about the bath, yours looks quite handy!
Edit: After some experimenting, using the handle from inside the bath, after opening the door a few inches, works pretty good.  This was a convenient accident!
